River Delta Development

Our river deltas are home to millions of people and diverse ecosystems. They play a key role in global food production and drive economic development. Yet these crucial areas are increasingly under threat from climate change and population growth. To tackle these complex challenges, we need forward-thinking professionals who can connect ecology, technology and society.

This is exactly the focus of this Master’s programme – a unique collaboration between three universities of applied sciences, each bringing its own expertise: HZ University of Applied Sciences (coastal zones), Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences (river systems), and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (urban water).
