Great news in the Keuzegids Masters 2026 – the independent Dutch guide ranking and evaluating master’s programmes: in this year’s edition, the master’s programme Sustainable Regional Transitions has received a very positive evaluation. On no fewer than four of the five aspects assessed, the programme achieved a higher score than last year – a result to be proud of.
On three aspects, Sustainable Regional Transitions even received an above-average rating: content, career preparation, and atmosphere. In addition, teaching staff and assessment were also evaluated, and their scores increased compared with last year.
John Raggers, Director of Education Velp, is pleased with the news:
“It is wonderful to see that this master’s programme is rated so highly, and I am therefore very proud of the lecturers who dedicate themselves to it every day with so much energy and passion. Within the programme, we work broadly on transitions, and it is great that our students value this as well. We know that the professional field is also very pleased with our graduates, and now we send them into the labour market with even greater pride.”
The master’s programme River Delta Development (joint degree) is also mentioned in the Keuzegids, but because the number of responses was too low, no student evaluations are available for this programme.
The Keuzegids Masters is an independent guide that annually evaluates master’s programmes in the Netherlands using its own methodology. The scores are largely based on students’ opinions in the National Student Survey.
