Getting work experience in practice is useful and positive. VHL trainees and companies almost always look back on their cooperation with satisfaction.
Doing an internship is an essential part of any follow-up study. Doing an internship means gaining your first work experience in practice. This practice can sometimes differ greatly from the impression invoked by theory. Yet you will always gain something from doing an internship.
In almost all cases, introductions to the actual practice turn out to be positive and interns and companies subsequently look back at the cooperation with satisfaction. The intern is satisfied because they have broadened their perspective and the company is satisfied because the student will generally have provided input that helps the company in its development.
It is often the case that graduates from VHL University of Applied Sciences (VHL) find employment at the company where they did an internship. The major benefit is that there is mutual familiarity. The knowledge, expertise and personality of the student can immediately be put to use by the company.
