VHL is engaged in partnerships with educational institutions, knowledge centres, and industry partners.
HVHL is engaged in partnerships with educational institutions, knowledge centres, and industry partners. On the one hand, this cooperation focuses on sharing facilities. On the other hand, it allows us to jointly offer students a wider range of choices or a specific specialisation.
As a university of applied sciences, we are explicitly open to complementary, national and regional cooperation with other universities of applied sciences, for example in developing new joint educational offerings at national and international level. We also want to maintain healthy and intensive contacts with secondary education and secondary vocational (MBO) institutions in the areas surrounding our locations.
In these partnerships, we share expertise, initiate joint research projects, and tailor educational programmes to regional needs and developments.
We find it extremely valuable to partner with other green universities of applied sciences. We are joining forces with our partners in various ways within the green-blue sector of nature, agriculture, water, and the green living environment.
Green Pact is another important national network for our university of applied sciences, representing as it does all Dutch green education institutions. This network also includes the industry and several governmental institutions, such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV).
It goes without saying that VHL is also active within the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (Vereniging Hogescholen, VH). VH is committed to realising the best education and research at 36 universities of applied sciences, and is a dialogue partner for civil society organisations and governments. It also influences political decision-making.
