At Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences (VHL), we seek partnerships with regional, national, and international educational institutions that share our vision.

Knowledge sharing and (inter)national cooperation

We believe in the added value of knowledge sharing and international cooperation to have a greater impact, not only in our own regions, but also globally. That is how we exchange knowledge on sustainable transitions and build joint educational programmes and research. In the process, we learn together to increase our impact within our regions and far beyond.

Exchange programmes and mobility

Our students and staff are given the opportunity to take part in various exchange programmes and mobility initiatives. This is a great way to gain international experience and work with partner universities of applied research and other educational institutions. This happens, for instance, in the context of various national and international Living Labs. These labs allow us to explore various forms of joint education and set up funded applied research projects.

Collaboration and exchange of best practices

These exchange programmes contribute to our students' professional and personal development. As a student, you work during your studies on achieving concrete, meaningful, and sustainable results in an international environment. This experience lays a strong foundation for your future career. Staff member exchanges, on the other hand, contribute to strengthening international cooperation and sharing best practices with different education and research departments.
