The Executive Board of VHL University of Applied Sciences (VHL) provides accountability for its actions, both vertically as well as horizontally. An important part of this openness and transparency they aspire, is the publication on this website of annual reports, accreditations for the educational programmes and rules and codes of conduct.
The vertical accountability is taken towards the Ministry of Economic Affairs and authorities that carry out inspections. Moreover the Executive Board reports to the Supervisory Board of VHL.
Horizontally, the Executive Board strives for a maximum amount of transparency towards and calibration with employees and students.
VHL University of Applied Sciences (VHL) has the status of Public Benefit Organisation (Dutch abbreviation: ANBI). Such an organisation contributes to the public benefit in one way or another. Examples include charities, churches or organisations with a certain worldview as well as cultural or scientific institutions. The information to be published by VHL can be found at: the contact page of VHL and the page that explains what VHL stands for.
