"I have always found cocoa an interesting crop. Ghana is a great country and the company has a good reputation, so I seized the opportunity with both hands. In the role of Extension Manager, I lead the Extension Team. This team supports Cocoa Abrabopa's farmers and trains them to use natural pest control agents and fertiliser correctly. Great, busy job
"With that extra income, our farmers are building brick houses, sending their children to university and getting good healthcare. And it's going to get even better, because the Fair Trade label and organic cocoa are also on their way. It is a great job, a very busy job, in which I derive a lot of benefit from my time at VHL University of Applied Sciences (VHL)."
