Alumni have new ideas and professional experience. For example, you could provide critical feedback on educational matters, become a guest teacher, offer work placements, or become a commissioner or a member of an employment market committee. VHL University of Applied Sciences (VHL) offers several activities and services for you as an alumnus:
VHL training & development is part of the VHL University of Applied Sciences. Here you can find business services, customised solutions, in-company training, courses, masterclasses, events and contract education for third parties. The bureau offers a broad spectrum of specialist knowledge and services for the government, semi-government, trade and industry, community work and individuals, at both a national and international level.
This platform was founded to facilitate discussions on the full spectrum of subjects from the green domain with (near) graduates and people who work at VHL. This includes subjects that touch upon nature and the environment, the health of people and animals and responsible entrepreneurship: subjects about which you may be concerned and for which you would like to share your thoughts.
Using the LinkedIn platform, you can build and maintain your network. You can also post arguments to which you would like a response, read opinions of others, exchange information, post and read job vacancies, and much more. Join us on LinkedIn
After your graduation there are all sorts of ways to stay in touch with the study programme you followed and to obtain information about developments in the programme and the employment market. There are two alumni associations specially for graduates of the VHL University of Applied Sciences:
Via these alumni associations, you can stay informed about what is happening in your field of expertise, for example by reading the magazine for members. They also regularly organise excursions, lectures, reunions and network meetings. And there are of course plenty of social activities in which you can participate.
